Revit Architecture The Complete Guide is designed to give you a solid understanding of Revit Architecture, its features and capabilities, from the basics through to the most advanced and complex topics. This course covers Creating Walls, Adding Site Features, Using Massing Tools, Rendering and Walkthroughs, and Using Advanced Features.
Autodesk Revit allows professionals to optimize building performance and share model data with engineers and contractors. It is software for architectural design, MEP, and structural engineering, and a solution for collaborative BIM; its powerful tools let you use the intelligent model-based process to plan, design, construct, and manage.
Recommended Supported Browsers: Internet Explorer 10, Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, Chrome, Maxthon, iOS (iPad 2 and 3), Opera and Safari. We recommend that you use the most current version of these browsers. Other browsers, and some earlier versions of these browsers may be supported, but you may experience some limitations on certain Learning Management System or course functions.
User Requirements: You do not need any previous experience with Revit Architecture to take this course; however, it does assume a reasonable level of experience with the Windows operating system and some experience with other CAD software.
Beginners: Complete the course in order from beginning to end. Once any topic is completed, you will have full access to it at any time for one year after registration, to use as a resource.
Intermediate/Advanced Users: Use the course as a flexible resource tool to find what you need, whenever you need it. Try the assessment tests first, if you get 80%+ you can move to the next level, if you get less than 80% you should complete the lecture. This gives you a pre and post assessment score, which can be used to track your skills improvement.
Once you register for a course, you will receive an email with instructions and a pin number within 24 hours of registration. After which, you can begin the course at any time. Please note hours of operation in the Education department are Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. All registrations received after hours will be processed the next business day.
