Inventor The Complete Guide is designed to give you a solid understanding of Inventor features and capabilities, from the basics through to the most advanced and complex topics. This course covers Sketching, Adding Part Features, Creating the Drawing, Presentations, and Weldments.

Autodesk Inventor is a 3D parametric modeling system, offering professional-grade 3D mechanical design, documentation, and product simulation tools. With Inventor, you can create 3D digital prototypes and then use them to create drawings, visualizations, and simulations.

Other browsers, and some earlier versions of these browsers may be supported, but you may experience some limitations on certain Learning Management System or course functions.

User Requirements:  You do not require any previous experience with Inventor to take this course; however, it does assume a reasonable level of experience with the Windows operating and some experience with other CAD software.


Beginners: Complete the course in order from beginning to end. Once any topic is completed, you will have full access to it at any time for one year after registration, to use as a resource.

Intermediate/Advanced Users:  Use the course as a flexible resource tool to find what you need, whenever you need it. Try the assessment tests first, if you get 80%+ you can move to the next level, if you get less than 80% you should complete the lecture. This gives you a pre and post assessment score, which can be used to track your skills improvement.


Once you register for a course, you will receive an email with instructions and a pin number within 24 hours of registration.  After which, you can begin the course at any time. Please note hours of operation in the Education department are Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.   All registrations received after hours will be processed the next business day.
