Lean Design and Construction Canada – Vancouver and Vancouver Island Lean Community of Practice in collaboration with VRCA invites you to the upcoming CoP Session on “Owner’s Perspectives and Lessons Learned on 6 IPD Projects”

Integrated Project Delivery is gaining popularity in Canada with owners looking for a better project delivery model to improve project outcomes, increase collaboration, transparency and trust, and deliver more predictability and visibility. As you may know, Lean practices are a core part of the IPD methodology. While potentially rewarding, piloting a new delivery method can seem daunting, Join us for the LDCC Community of Practice session to learn from the Owners who are pioneers of IPD in Western Canada and are coming to share their experiences with you.
SPEAKERS:
Michael Yuan, Project Manager from the City of Burnaby’s Civic Building Projects group, Lands and Facilities Department will join us to talk about Burnaby’s experience and lessons learned on over $230M worth of IPD projects.
Malcolm (Mac) Logan, P.Eng., MBA, the City of Kelowna’s Infrastructure General Manager will be joining us to share his experience. The City of Kelowna currently has 2 IPD projects in progress, with more contemplated.
